TEFLUBE
Teflube was designed to withstand
both high temperature and extreme pressures and to also provide a metal
cushion in thread flanks. Teflube contains metallic lead, premium graphite
and varied shapes and sizes of Teflon®. An important component is
a corrosion inhibitor combined with a grease base, this element leaves
tool joints moist and well protected when broken out. The compound provides
a high degree of protection against excessive torque and loose joints
caused by backlash. Teflube is recommended for casing, drill pipe and
tubing. Usage should assure leak-proof connections with less torque and
less thread scuffing. Teflube greatly increases the life of production
strings that are pulled and run many times. Always stir well before using.
