Kelly Valve
Packard International's one-piece
kelly valve is designed for extended operating life. The compact body
design saves space, and its full bore accommodates unrestricted access
for down hole tools. This valve provides a positive seal-off for kick
protection when used as an upper or lower kelly valve. The upper kelly
valve has left hand threads and is located between the kelly and the swivel;
the lower kelly valve has right handed threads and is located below the
kelly. When the lower kelly valve is shut, mud from the kelly and hoses
will not spill to the rig floor, promoting cleanliness and safety. |

Two-Piece Kelly Valve
Two-Piece Kelly Valve consists
of a body, a sub, and the internals that are determined by the I.D. of
the valve. It functions similar to One-Piece Kelly Valve. Like all of
Packard international’s Products, it can be produced to a customer’s
specification. It is hydrostatically pre-tested. Repair Kits and Seal
Kits are also available for this product. |
