IBOP's

Packard International’s IBOP is designed such that the internal flow will minimize erosion at the sealing area of the dart, increasing seal life and reducing overall pressure loss. Its operating design is to seal off internal pressure during a kick through the drill string. Whether used as a safety valve on open pipe or as part of the drill string. It prevents upward flow of well pressure. The heavy-duty handles allow easy stabbing with backflow and the integral seat provides improved structural strength.
